Welcome to the 8th FDM World Congress!
Every three years, one of the international FDM associations hosts this 3 day conference. Due to the pandemic we haven’t had a World Congress since 2017! This event is designed to bring together FDM colleagues from all over the world to discuss new ideas, new techniques, and to foster camaraderie and friendship across the globe.
This Congress’s theme is “Beyond the Thumb.” In many practices that utilize FDM, practitioners are known for using their thumb to treat the fascia. What can we do to bring other parts of FDM to the forefront? What concepts and techniques can we expand upon? We’ll have speakers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas bringing the latest in FDM and fascia straight to you. Daily workshops will foster your hands-on skills.

Guest Policy
Guests are welcome to attend the conference socially at no charge. Guests are not permitted to attend lectures or workshops. Guests may register at no charge if not partaking in conference food/lunches. Guests may partake in conference food/lunches for a $200 per guest charge. Just as with full conference participants, guests will incur an event charge for the Saturday event should they wish to participate.
Housing
Rooms are blocked at the Hilton Motif Seattle Hotel. A limited number of rooms are available; hotel booking link will be provided in your Congress registration confirmation. We appreciate you booking your rooms at the Hilton Motif as we have secured an exception rate for your stay and your reservation will help us meet our commitment to the hotel regarding room nights.
Travel
There are flights into Seattle from most major international airports. Travel around Seattle is easy on the Link light rail. Our hotel is 1.5 blocks from the Westlake Link station.
Before or after the World Congress: Flights to Hawaii, California, Las Vegas, and Alaska are easy from Seattle. Extend your vacation and see more of what the western US has to offer!
