Angela Lim, D.O.
Angela Lim D.O. hails from Southeast Michigan. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she is AOBFP and AOBNMM board certified, and completed her combined Family Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After residency, Angela accepted a position with a small Northern California community health system as a family medicine physician. About a year went by and Angela decided that OMM is truly her calling and passion, so she worked with NorthBay to establish a full time OMM practice, which has been quite successful. In 2016, Angela was exposed to FDM during a pre-Convo course and it changed the trajectory of her practice. During the course, she experienced firsthand what a remarkable difference FDM techniques made for her chronic problems. Bringing FDM back to her practice, she noticed rapid, significant improvements in patient outcomes. Since that first module, Angela has been spreading FDM to anyone willing to listen. Third year students from Touro California who rotate with Angela have expressed how grateful they are being taught FDM and how to incorporate it in their basic OMM foundation. Fellow physicians, DOs and MDs alike, are highly interested in FDM as well as the physical therapists working with Angela at NorthBay. Angela hopes to continue working on her FDM knowledge and skills as well as to help spread the knowledge through teaching and publications.
