Curriculum Committee

Chair: Dr. Todd Capistrant

Summary:

The Curriculum committee is working on development of a curriculum that could be provided by AFDMA to Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (COMs) to provide a consistent introduction to the FDM.

Research Committee

Chair: Dr. Jess Pelletier

Summary:

The Research Committee meets monthly to discuss, support, and advocate for FDM-related research. Participants are welcome to join to learn from others in the field or to present their own research and receive peer feedback.

Scholarships & Grants Committee

Chair: Dr. Jess Pelletier

Summary:

The Scholarships & Grants Committee oversees the development and management of funding initiatives to support module attendance and to pursue grant opportunities that benefit AFDMA and its mission.

Social Media & Marketing Committee

Chair: Dr. Allison Henkenius

Summary:
The Social Media & Marketing Committee manages AFDMA’s website, social media presence, and related marketing efforts. The committee works to strengthen awareness, engagement, and communication across AFDMA platforms.
