Thomas Kincheloe, D.O., born to a military family. He traveled the world and the lower continental US in his youth before joining the US Army as a combat medic. He learned his passion for medicine while in the US Army and left after 7 years of service (4 active duty and 3 Washington State National Guard) to further pursue medicine. He is a graduate of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Yakima, Washington, where he was introduced to the model in his first year. He currently lives in Ridge, NY and works as an Transition Year intern in the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. Since learning FDM in his first module, he has continued to utilize FDM in the treatment of his patients as well as teaching to other fellow residents and medical students. He feels that FDM is a critical part of the Osteopathic philosophy and should be incorporated into the standard osteopathic practices and principles taught at osteopathic medical schools. In his time outside of practice, he spends with his wife and children. With the remaining time, he is also an avid martial artist, specializing in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
